Hello, In the past 4 days.when i leave my computer for more than 20 minutes, it automatically goes to screensaver, now this is something new, this never used to happen.i don't bother with the screensaver setting.and the problem is.when it goes to screensaver, (which is set at widows 3D) everything freezes and i have to reboot my computer. I went into control panel to try to change my screensaver and as soon as my mouse pointer touches the screensaver tab, everything freezes again and i have to reboot, again.not good.i've done a few troubleshooting things.did a malware and a virus scan, found nothing.also did a defrag. Aside from that, everything seems to be running fine. Also, i'm using the free version of Avast Antivirus. Should i try a different anti-virus to see if it gets rid of this problem?

If so, should i uninstall the Avast first or just leave it? Any suggestions or comments would be most appreciated!
